Answer:

Let the total number of sheep be X

10x/100 + 40x/100 + 594 = x

(10x + 40x + 59400)/100 = x

50x + 59400 = 100x

50(x + 1188) = 100x

x + 1188 = 2x

1188 = x

There were 1188 sheep in the farm

mounikhaviswanathan: population in 2nd year = 509600
mounikhaviswanathan: 509600+ 3/100(509600) = 509600 + 15288 = 524888
mounikhaviswanathan: OK?
mounikhaviswanathan: Can u mark my answer as brainliest
amsavarthini: ok thanks but u should give this answer in that sum
amsavarthini: then only i can mark ur answer as brainliest

Let total no. of goats be x.

No. of goats died due to flood

= 10% of x = x/10.

Remaining goats

= x - x/10 = 9x/10.

Goats died due to disease

= 40% of 9x/10 = 36x/100.

Rest goats = 9x/10 - 36x/100

Now, As per the question,

, As per the question,54x/100 = 594

x = 594*100/54 = 1100.

So, Original number of goats = 1100
