 \frac{distance}{time}

speed in 1/3 of the road =20km/h

speed in 2/3 the road

=60km/h

let u assume the total distance to be 120 (LCM of 20 and 60)

D1=120

D2=120

therefore,

T1= d/s=120/20= 6hrs

T2= d/s= 120/60= 2hrs

Average speed = d1+d2/T1+T2

=120+120/6+2

=240/8

=30km/hr
