OK FIRST LET ME GIVE YOU THE DEFINITIONS OF ALL

PURE SUBTANCE

genius material which contain particles of only one kind and has a definite set of properties is called pure substance

MIXTURE

if two or more substance mixed together in any proportion, do not undergo any chemical changes but retain their characteristics resulting mass is called mixture

SO THE BASIC DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IS =

a pure substance is in a fixed proportion where as mixture is in any proportion

and pure substance is two type

  1. element
  2. compound

and the basic difference between them is

compound is made of elements

it can be broken into chemical means

Whereas

element is made of pure substance

it can be broken into two or more substances

hope it is useful to you ^_^

Answer:

Pure substance:

Pure substance is made up of single compound.

A pure substance is a form of matter that has a constant composition.

A pure substance cannot be classified as homogenous and heterogeneous as they itself are the pure.

Mixture:

A mixture is made up of two or more compounds.

It does not have a definite composition

It can be classified as homogenous and heterogeneous.

Element:

A element is made up of single type of atom.

Elements can be classified as metals and non-metals.

Elements react with the other elements to give compounds

Compounds:

Compounds are made up of two or more atoms and molecules.

They can be classified as ionic and covalent.

They react with elements and compounds to give raise to new compounds.
