There are numerous direct and indirect negative effects of global warming.

They can be roughly classified as:

Human health

  • Diseases due to flooding related water pollution
  • Insect borne diseases due to expansion of vector habitat and flooding
  • Reduced disease resistance due to increased famine

Increased exposure to paleo viruses due to melting ice and Tundra

Weather

  • Higher ocean temperatures result in higher energy and higher water content hurricanes
  • More violent storms
  • Changing primary air i.e. jet streams, currents bring polar vortices to lower latitudes causing colder periods in some regions
  • Changing rainfall patterns and increasing droughts in some areas

Biodiversity

  • Increased extinction rates due to inability for habitat restricted species to adapt to changing climates
  • Generally simpler ecosystems as natural ecosystems break down
  • Increased freshwater lake eutrophication i.e. lower O2, higher Cyanobacteria blooms, higher bacteria counts, anoxic zones…
  • Lower reproductive rates for some wild populations
  • Forest loss due to increasing insect infestation

Human infrastructure

  • Loss of coastal cities and land due to ocean level rising
  • Storm damage per. above
  • Crop loss due to drought and changing rainfall patterns

The above are some adverse impacts that came to mind. I’m sure there are others.

Hope this may help you and be the brainliest.....

What are the disadvantages of global warming?

The following are the main disadvantages of global warmings. These are just a few and there are still more.

Weather Aberration

—Because of weather aberration, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis, floods, droughts, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur even anytime, anywhere. It means storms can break even in winter.

2. Melting of Ice Caps

—Due to melting of ice caps, the sea level rises and as a result, more sea water or freshwater are added to the sea or to the ocean and so floods and tsunamis are more likely to happen than before.

3. Desertification

—Owing to desertification, a large amount of water is lost. This means shortage of water is the clearest result. Following this, food and shelter for various species of animals are lost since GREEN FORESTS've turned into DESERTS.

4. Extinction of animals

—Today, we can't see many species of animals which we've often seen before because they had been disappeared from the earth forever. We can't also hear the sweet songs of little birds in spring or in autumn. Sadly, “ The Pleasant Spring” has turned into “The Silent Spring”.pring”

5. Multiplication of diseases formed from extremely dangerous rays from the sun

—Diseases related to respiratory syetem and circulatory system are most common among people. People inhaling the air with high amount of carbon dioxide usually encounter lung and heart problems. Also due to extremely harmful ultraviolet radiations, people have to face serious skin cancers
