Answer:

A method of agriculture in which the same land is farmed every year is known as sedentary cultivation.

Agricultural activity is carried on in one place. It is the most primitive form of cultivation.

Due to sedentary cultivation, the soil becomes less nutrient-rich. Sedentary farming was developed independently in Eurasia and America.

Sedentary agriculture describes an agriculture practice in which the same crops are planted on the same piece of land year after year.

The farm land used is just one as opposed to nomadic or shifting cultivation.

The farmers do not move around as in nomadic cultivation.

The nutrient value of the land is not as good as that in shifting or nomadic cultivation and has to be supplemented.
