Given :- Priya sold a flower vase to a shop at a profit of 25%. The shop sells it to a customer at a loss of 10%. At what price did the customer buy the flower vase, if it cost 400 to Priya ?

Solution :-

we have,

→ CP of flower vase for Priya = Rs.400

→ Profit % = 25% .

So,

→ SP at which Priya sold to shop = {CP * (100 + Profit%)}/100 = {400 * (100 + 25)}/100 = (400 * 125/100) = Rs.500 .

Now,

→ CP of shop = Rs.500

→ Loss % = 10%

then,

→ SP at which shop sold to customer = {CP * (100 - Loss%)}/100 = {500 * (100 - 10)}/100 = (500 * 90/100) = Rs.450 .

Hence, The customer buy the flower vase at Rs.450 .
