In △ABD and △CBD

∴ △ABD ≅ △CBD (SSS axiom)
∴ ∠ABD = ∠CBD
=> 50 = x + 5° => x = 50° - 5 = 45°
and ∠ADB = ∠CDB
⇒ y - 7° = 38° ⇒ y = 38° + 7° = 45°
