Answer:

Distance traveled by Rohit from home to school = 9/8 km

Distance traveled by Rohit from school to skating brink = 5/6 km

Distance traveled by Rohit from skating brink to work = 2/3 km

Distance traveled by Rohit from work to his home = 5/16 km

Total distance traveled by Rohit = 9/8 + 5/6 + 2/3 + 5/16                                                                                                   = (54+40+32+15)/48                                                                                                       = 141/48 km                                                                                                                     = 47/16 km

                                                       = 2 15/16 km
