Answer:

Question ⤵⤵

10 rational no. between 3/5and3/4 ?

Answer

Here ,

Let x = 3/5 , and let y = 3/4 and n be 10

Now,

Let d = ( y - x ) = (3/4 - 3/5 )

(n + 1 ) = ( 10 + 1 )

= ( 0.75 - 0.6 ) = 1.35

11 11

Then , required rational numbers are :-

(x + d) , (x + 2d ) , (x + 3d ) , ( x + 4d ) , ( x + 5d ) ,

( x + 6d) , ( x + 7d ) , ( x + 8d ) , (x + 9d ) , (x + 10d).

i.e.

  1. (x + d) => 3/5+ 1.35 / 11 = 40/55
  2. (x + 2d ) => 3/5 + 2× 1.35/11 = 47 / 55
  3. (x + 3d ) => 3/5 + 3× 1.35 /11 = 53/55
  4. ( x + 4d ) => 3/5 + 4 × 1.35 / 11 = 60/55
  5. ( x + 5d ) => 3/5 + 5 × 1.35 / 11 = 67/55
  6. ( x + 6d) => 3/5 + 6× 1.35 / 11 = 74/55
  7. ( x + 7d ) => 3/5 + 7 × 1.35 / 11 = 80 /55
  8. ( x + 8d ) => 3/5 + 8× 1.35 /11 = 87/55
  9. (x + 9d ) => 3/5 + 9× 1.35 / 11 = 94/55
  10. (x + 10d) => 3/5 + 10 × 1.35 / 11 = 100/55

  • Know what is rational Number :--

All the numbers which can be written in the form p/q , where p n q are all integers and q is not equal to zero , is called a rational number.

  • Know the above method :--

Let x and y be any rational number in which x < y. Now , think we have to find n rational number between x and y.

then ,

Let d = ( y - x )

(n + 1 )

So , n rational number lying between x and y will be :--

(x + d) , (x + 2d ) , (x + 3d ) ..., infinite
