Cost price of 1 T-shirt before discount = Rs 300

Cost price of 1 T-shirt after discount = Rs 300 - 300 x 10/100 = Rs 300 - 30

= Rs 270

Therefore cost price of 5 T-shirts = Rs 270 x 5 = Rs 1350.

Acc to question total selling price of 5 T-shirts = Rs 1485

Since Selling Price > Cost price so Sohan earns a profit.

Now Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price = Rs (1485 - 1350) = Rs 135.(Ans)

We can also calculate Profit% = (Profit/Cost price) x 100% = (135/1350) x 100% = 10%
