$\implies 2x = 10$

$\implies x = \frac{10}{2}$

Now,

3x = 3 × 5 = 15 ← Rachit's present age

4x = 4 × 5 = 20 ← Bhanu's present age

∴ The sum of their present ages = 3x + 4x = 15 + 20 = 35 years

Thus, the sum of the present age of Rachit and Bhanu is → 35 years.
