  • semiperimeter = 54 cm
  • ratio of sides = 12:17:25

let their common ratio be x

we know,

  • semiperimeter = sum of three sides / 2

  • first side = 12x
  • second side = 17x
  • third side = 25x

  • semiperimeter = 12x + 17x + 25x / 2

54 = 54x/2

x = 54×2 / 54

x = 2

  • first side = 12x = 12(2) = 24 cm
  • second side = 17x = 17(2) = 34 cm
  • third side = 25x = 25(2) = 50 cm
