Dear friend, Some applications in which we reduce the pressure by increasing the surface area over which the force is exerted are: 1)A porter carries luggage on his head after keeping a piece of cloth. 2)Cutting vegetables with blunt knife etc.

2 rear tyres of busses buses and trucks are broad in order to experience less pressure.

3 Strips of bags are broad in order to experience less pressure on shoulders.

4 foundation of wide buildings are made wide.
