Answer:

a) Given :

find smallest missing numberals And sum of the numerals divisible by 3

Rule : sum of digits divisible by 3

now,

case 1 :

consider A = 0 ( the 1st smallest numeral of all )

then, 1A4 becomes 104

now, apply rules

sum of digits = 1+0+4= 5

5 CANNOT be divided by 3 so this '0' is not the answer.

case 2 :

if A = 0 ( the 2nd smallest number next to 0 )

then, 1A4 becomes 114

now apply rules

sum of digits = 1+1+4=6

6 is divisible by 3

therefore, A = 1

therfore 114 is divisible by 3
