10. Starting from rest, Rahul paddles his cycle to attain a velocity of 6m/s in 30 s. He then applies brakes such that the velocity of the bicycle comes down to 4 m/s in the next 5 s. Calculate the acceleration of the bicycle on both the cases.

starting from A stationary position u = 0

v = 6m/s

time , t = 30 sec

a = v - u / t

a = 6 m/s - 0 m/s \ 30 sec

a = 0.2 m/s

In second case :-

u = 6 m/s

v = 4 m/s

t = 5 sec

a = v - u / t

a = 4 m/s - 6 m/s \ 5 sec

a = 0.4 m/s
