Ruskin Bond visits my school, the five questions that i ask him are listed below:
- When did you make the decision to write for young readers?
- What characteristics do kids seek out in books?
- An entire procedure must occur from the beginning to the end of a book. How did it go?
- Your books often have a hill theme. Why?
- Are today's kids reading enough, in your opinion?
- Ruskin Bond: An accomplished modern Indian author of British ancestry, Ruskin Bond. He produced a large number of motivational children's books, and his literary achievements were recognised with the Sahitya Akademi Award. He was the son of Edith Clarke and Aubrey Bond.
- He was born on May 19, 1934, in Kasauli, India. His father, who was a member of the Royal Air Force, regularly moved from one location to another with his kid.
- His mother left him when he was eight years old as a result of his parents' separation. She wed a Punjabi-Hindu. It was difficult for Bond to have a close relationship with his mother because she was rarely there to show him affection. Eventually, their relationship deteriorated. His development was aided by his father's undivided attention.
- He was safe and loved, but his sad death left him broken and alone. He won several writing contests while still in school, including the Irwin Divinity Prize and the Hailey Literature Prize. He graduated in 1952, relocated to England, and spent four years living with his aunt there.
Hence, these are the five questions that i ask Ruskin Bond.
