I am answering this on perspective of qualitative learning based upon the time available to students. Only studying for fix amount of time is not complete solution for scoring 10th .
To be frank , please don't gauge the study my number of hours . Just focused on the how many lessons you need to study including all subjects & measure the time you do have till examination. It may take some time to calculate this, but believe me this calculation of time will remind you how to spend your time for rest of the year till examination. This will help in keeping adequate pace to complete the syllabus. Dedicate the particular amount of time for each chapter. This time can be kept with some flexibility as some chapter needs more time of grasp the concepts.
Try to understand the concept of the lessons. Just give one minute & ask yourself ' why this chapter is included in syllabus ? What do I get it if I read this chapter?Will it add more value to my knowledge or thought process ?’
