10. The area of four walls of a room is 420 m . If the length of
the room is twice its breadth and the walls are 5 m high,
find the length and breadth of the room.​

let be the length =2x

breadth=x

height= 5m

AREA OF FOUR WALLS=2(l+b)h

420 =2(2x+x)5

420 =6x × 5

420/5=6x

84=6x

84/6=x

14=x

so,

length=2x(2×14)=28

breath =14
