\Large{\underline{\bf{Given:}}}

☞ Side of the Square = 30mts

☞ Width inside the Square = 1 m

\Large{\underline{\bf{To\;Find:}}}

☞ Area of The Path

\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{Solution:}}}}

\boxed{\sf{☆\;Area\;of\; Square = Side×Side}}

Side of Outer Square → 30mts

→\;{\sf{30×30}}

➝\;{\bf{900m²}}

✧ Area of Outer Square = 900m²

Width inside of the square → 1m

Side of Inner Square = Side of Outer Square - Width

Side of Inner Square → 30-1 = 29m

→\;{\sf{29×29}}

➝\;{\bf{841m²}}

✧ Area of Inner Square = 841m²

Now, Area of Width = Area of Outer Square - Area of Inner Square

→\;{\sf{900-841}}

➝\;{\bf{59m²}}

\Large{\green{\underline{\mathfrak{AnSweR:}}}}

✷ Area of Width ◕➜ \huge{\red{\mathfrak{59m²}}}

Hope It Helps You ✌️

Answer:

Let ABCD, the square garden of side= 30 m.

PQRS is the region inside the garden.

so,

PQ = (30 -1-1 ) = 28 m

also

PS = ( 30 – 1 – 1 ) = 28 m

(i) Area of the path = Area of ABCD – Area of PQRS

= [( 30 x 30) – (28 x 28)]

= 900 – 784

= 116 sq.m

(ii) Area of the remaining portion in which the grass is planted = Area of square PQRS

= 28 x 28

= 784 sq.m

cost of planting the grass in the region PQRS = area x cost = 764 x 40

=31,360
