Answer:

Let the sum be S.

SI=S×(15/100)×2=S×0.3

CI=S(1+15/100)^2-S

=S(1.15)^2-S

=S{(1.3225-1)

=S×0.3225

It is given

CI-SI=45

S(0.3225-0.3)=45

S(0.0225)=45

S=45/0.0225=2000
