The sum of three consecutive numbers is 153, find the numbers.

Answer :-

Let the number be x,

Second number = x + 1

Third number = x + 2

➢ According to the question :-

Sum of all the three consecutive numbers = 153

➠ x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 153

➠ 3x + 3 = 153

➠ 3x = 153 - 3

➠ 3x = 150

➠ x = 150/3

➠ x = 50

Numbers = 50 , 51 and 52.

Let the numbers are x, x+1,x+2

As per question,

x + x+1 + x+2 = 153

3x + 3 = 153

3x = 150

Therefore x = 150/3

= 50

Hence the numbers are 50 , 51 , 52
