Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

(1) 9/4 v

◆ Explaination -

Speed of electron in nth orbit of atom is given by -

v = Ze² / 2εnh

For 3rd orbit of He+,

v = (2 × e²) / (2ε × 3 × h)

v = 1/3 (e²/εh)

3v = e²/εh

For 2nd orbit of Li2+ -

v' = (3 × e²) / (2ε × 2 × h)

v' = 3/4 (e²/εh)

Putting e²/εh = 3v,

v' = 3/4 × 3v

v' = 9/4 v

Therefore, The velocity of electron moving in 2nd orbit of Li+2 is 9/4 v.

Thanks dear...

Answer:

velocity (Vn) = (z²)/(n²) = 9/4v

z= Li :- 3. and n = orbit :- 2
