By pythagoras theorem

OA² = OC² + AC²

12² = 5² + AC²

144 = 25 + AC²

AC² = 144 - 25

AC = √119 = 10.90cm

A perpendicular drawn from center of circle to the chord bisects the chord.

The length of chord is 21.80cm
