Answer:

Perimeter of square =4×side

=4×64

=256cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of square

⇒2×(length+breadth)=256

⇒2×(70+breadth)=256

⇒breadth=48cm

Area of square =side×side

=64×64

=4096cm^2

Area of rectangle = =l×b

=70×48

=3360cm^2

Area of Square is greater than Area of Rectangle.

Solution :-

Here,

Side of a square = 64m

As we know that,

Perimeter of square = 4 * Side

Perimeter of square = 4 * 64

Perimeter of square = 256m

Now,

Two plots have same perimeter that is ,

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

Here, Length of the rectangle = 70m

Subsistute the required values,

2 ( 70 + B) = 256

140 + 2B = 256

2B = 256 - 140

2B = 116

B = 116/2

B = 58m

Thus, The breath of the rectangle is 58m

Now,

Area of rectangle

= Length * Breath = 70 * 58 = 4060m^2

Area of square

= Side * side

= 4096

Hence, Square has more area by 36m^2 .
