10. Two supplementary angles differ by 40°

Let the first angle = X

It's supplement= X+40°

therefore, X + (X+40)= 180°

on solving this:

X= 70°

it's supplement= X+40

=70°+40°

=110°

Thus, answer is 70° and 110°

2x = 140</strong><strong>°</strong><strong>

x =  \frac{140</strong><strong>°</strong><strong>}{2}

1st Angle= 70°

2nd angle=70°+40

=110°
