Given :

Number of days 10 woman can complete the work = 7 days

No of days 10 children can conplete the work = 14 days

To find :

Number of days required by 5 women and 10 children to complete the work

Solution :

• Work done by one women in one day = 1/70

• Work done by one child in one day = 1/140

• Total work done by twomen and qp children in one day = 5(1/70) + 10(1/140)

                                                                                              = 10/140 +10/140

                                                                                              =20/140

• No of days required = 140/20 = 7days

The work can be completed in 7 days by 5 women and 10 children
