If 10 workers need 6 hr. to build 1 house then 1 worker needs 6x 10 = 60 days to build 1 house.

So rate of work is 1 house / 60 worker days effort

So with 15 workers you get this 60 worker days effort in 60/15 = 4 days

Given :

Time taken by 10 workers to build a wall = 6 hours

To Find :

How many hours will 15 workers take to build the same wall ?

Solution :

Time taken by 10 workers to build a wall = 6 hours

Time taken by 1 worker to build a wall = 6 × 10

                                                                = 60 hours

Time taken by 15 workers to build the same wall = \frac{60}{15} hours

                                                                                 = 4 Hours

Therefore, time taken by 15 workers to build the same wall is 4 hours.
