A convex mirror or diverging mirror is a curved mirror in which the reflective surface bulges towards the light source. Convex mirrors reflect light outwards, therefore they are not used to focus

2.When light travels from air into water, it slows down, causing it to change direction slightly. This change of direction is called refraction. When light enters a more dense substance (higher refractive index), it 'bends' more towards the normal line.

3.Uses of convex lens are: Convex lens is used in microscopes and magnifying glasses to subject all the light to a specific point. Convex lens is used as a camera lens in cameras as they focus light for a clean picture.

Hope its helps you☺
