Step-by-step explanation:

10/x+y+2/x-y=4 -----(i)

15/x+y-15/x-y=2-----(ii)

from eqn (i)

10(x-y)+2(x+y)=4(x²-y²)

10x-10y+2x+2y=4(x²-y²)

12x-8y=4(x²-y²)

4(3x-2y)=4(x²-y²)

3x-2y=x²-y²-----(iii)

similarly from eqn (ii)

15x-15y+15x+15y=2(x²-y²)

30x=2(x²-y²)

15x=x²-y²----(iv)

sub eqn (iv) to eqn (iii)

15x-3x+2y=x²-x²-y²+y²

12x+2y=0

6x+y=0

y=-6x----(v)

put "y" in eqn (iv)

15x=x²-(-6x)²

15x=x²-36x²

35x²+15x=0

7x²+3x=0

x(7x+3)=0

so x=0 or -3/7

when x=0

then y=0

& when x=-3/7

then y= -18/7
