Present age of her mother = 3x

10 years ago:-

Age of Rashmi = x + 10

Age of her mother = 3x + 10

10 years ago, Rashmi's mother's age was twice Rashmi's present age.

So:-

⇢3x + 10 = 2(x + 10)

⇢3x + 10 = 2x + 20

⇢3x - 2x = 20 - 10

⇢x = 10

Present age of Rashmi = x = 10 years

Age of Rashmi after 6 years

= Present age + 6
