10 years ago,if the age of the son is x and the father is 3x.

In present ,the age of the son is x+ 10 and the age of the father is 3x + 10 .

10 years later,

the age of son is x+20 and the age of father is 3x+20.

according to the question ,the age of the Son will be half of the age of the father ,,,,,,,,

(x+20)=1/2(3x+20)

or, 2x+40=3x+20

or, x=20

In present, the age of the son=(x+10)=20+10=30

andthe age of the father=(3x+10)=60+10=70
