Secondly open the small braces : -1000+[400/{100+450}] = -1000+[400/{550}].

Thirdly open the curly braces : -1000+[400/550] = -1000+[8/11].

Lastly open the big braces : -1000-8/11 = -11000-8/11 = -11008/11 = -1000.7
