Copper is considered to be a conductor because it “conducts” the electron current or flow of electrons fairly easily. Most metals are considered to be good conductors of electrical current. ... Insulators are materials that have just the opposite effect on the flow of electrons.

Hey MATE!!!

Classification of conductors and insulators have a rough idea of metals and non metals.

Metals conduct and non metals insulate.

Only exception is Graphite (non metal) (Form of carbon) which conducts electricity.

Hope it helps
