Dear Shivam,

I received your letter yesterday. I'm very happy to know about your sister's wedding ceremony. But I've something important to tell you.

I regret to tell you that though you requested many times, I've my English Pre-board exam on the day of your sister, Soniya's wedding. I really wanted to come to your home and enjoy the wedding ceremony, but I'm helpless. I need to perform well in the pre-board exams as my admission of class 11 in my school will be based based on this result. I'm really sorry.

I'm sending my heatiest congratulations to Soniya. Hope you'll understand my situation and you and Soniya will not be angry with me.
