a = 100  \: d =  - 5 \: n = 21 \\

a_n=a+(n-1)d

100+(21-1)-5

100+20.-5

100-100

0

Hence, 21st term will be 0.Sorry if u can't understand it perfectly

Plz plz mark it brainlest, bcoz I am in need of it.

Answer:

21st term = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the Series

100,95,90,85,....

To Find : 21st term

Solution:

Since the series

100,95,90,85,80,...

we observe that universal difference of the series d = 95 - 100 = -5

We know that the nth term of the series = a + ( n - 1 ) d

where a = first term and d = universal difference

since we have to find 21st term

so substitute n = 21 and a = 100 and d = -5

21st term of the series = 100 + ( 21 - 1 ) x (-5)

                                     = 100 + 20 x (-5)

                                     = 100-100

                                     = 0

Hence 21st term of the series = 0.
