Hello Mate!

This question can be solved by using identity :
( a + b )( a - b ) = a^2 - b^2,

Here, in 100 × 96 :-

( 98 + 2 ) ( 98 - 2 ) = 98^2 - 2^2
Now lets solve 98^ 2 also by identity ( a - b )^2
= a^2 + b^2 - 2ab

( 100 - 2 )^2 = 100^2 + 2^2 - 2 ( 100 )( 2 )
= 10000 + 4 - 400
= 9604

So, 98^2 - 2^2 = 9604 - 4 = 9600

Hope it helps☺!✌

No identity will be used
≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈
""" "" """"""""""""""""""
The answer is
9600
But here we can use as :-|
(a+b) (a-b)
(98+2)(98-2)
98^-2^
9600
Hope it helps u
