-100 by 3 and 300 by 9 are they equivalent or not​

How can they be equivalent when both of them have different signs?

-100/3=-33.333333...

300/9=33.333333....

One is a negative no. and the other is a positive number.

We can know if two fractions are equivalent by the way of cross multiplication.

I have done this in the following image.

Thus the two fractions are not equivalent....
