According to question:

The perimeter of rectangular field = The perimeter of  a square farm

$\therefore$ 2(l + b) = 4a

⇒ 2(100 + b) = 4 × 75

⇒ 2(100 + b) = 300

⇒ 100 + b = 150

⇒ b = 150 - 100 = 50

$\therefore$ The width of a  rectangular field (b) = 50 m

Thus, the width of a  rectangular field will be "50 m".

we know that,

• Perimeter of square = 4 * side .
• Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + width) .

given that,

→ Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square .

so,

→ 2(Length + width) = 4 * side

→ 100 + width = 2 * 75

→ width = 150 - 100

→ width = 50 m (Ans.)

Hence, width of the rectangular field will be 50 m.
