Given that

Mass of Nichrome metal = 100 mg = 100/10^6 KG. = m

Cross section Area of wire drawn = 0.05 Square mm = 0.05/1000000 square meter. = A

Density of Nichrome = 8400 Kg/m^3 = D

Resistivity of the material = 1.2/10^6 Ωm = I

Volume = Mass/Density = 100 * 10^-6 / (8400) = 12x10^-9 cubic meters.

Volume = Area*Length

Therefore Length = 12x10^-9 / 5x10^-8 = 0.24 m = L

Consider Resistance ( R ) = I*(L/A)

= 1.2 * 10^-6 * 0.24 / (5x10^-8) = 1.2 * 100 * 0.24 / 5 = 5.76Ω

Resistance of wire = 5.76Given that
