Given - Initial volume of glucose solution - 100 ml.

Initial molarity of glucose solution - 2 M.

Final volume of glucose solution - 700 ml.

Find - Molarity of resultant solution.

Solution - Molarity and volume of initial and final solutions can be compared by the formula : M1V1 = M2V2. In the equation, M1 is initial molarity, V1 is initial volume, M2 is final molarity and V2 is final volume.

Final volume = 700 + 100 = 800 ml.

Keeping the values in equation-

100*2 = M2*800

M2 = 200/800

M2 = 0.25 M.

Hence, the molarity of resultant solution will be 0.25 M.
