Given That
100 ml of sodium hydroxide is neutralized by 80ml of
HCl .
And , There is 200ml of Sodium hydroxide.
Let the HCl required be X
We know Ratio is always proportional.
So,
100/80 = 200/X
X = (200 × 80)/100
X = 2 × 80
X = 160
Hence, 160ml of HCl is required to neutralize 200ml of NaOH (sodium hydroxide)
