android platform in 2014, whereas 40% of
600 downloads of the mobile app ‘A’ were on
indroid platform in 2015. What was the percent
change from 2014 to 2015 in the number of
downloads on android platform for the app ‘A’?

100% of 200 = 200

40% of 600 = 40/100 * 600 =240

Percent change is -

Change in number of downloads on Android platforms /change in total number of downloads * 100

= (240 - 200) /(600 - 200) *100

=10%
