change into m/s

velocity= 72×5/18 m/s

= 20 m/s

now ,

time= 10 minutes= 600 seconds

v= u+at

0= 20+ a× 600

a= 20/600

a= 1/30 m/s^2

Solution :-

Here, initial velocity (u) = 72 km/h

→ u = (72 × 1000)/(3600)

→ u = 72000/3600

u = 20 m/s

And, it will stop after 10 minutes, so it's final velocity (v) = 0

Time (t) = 10 minutes.

→ t = (10 × 60) seconds.

t = 600 seconds.

Here, we know equation :-

→ v = u + at

Putting all values:-

→ 0 = 20 + 600a

→ 600a = -20

→ a = -20/600

→ a = -(1/30) m/s²

Therefore,

Acceleration of body = -(1/30)m/s²
