Scientific inventions may be a blessing to us. But as it happens every coin has two sides. Science beyond being helpful to us also has an ugly face. The face we may not like. Most of the scientific inventions has a downside. For example, refrigerators may help us keep our food fresh. But it releases CFC’s. This is a downside as it causes global warming and ozone depletion. As a result we are affected deeply. Even though science may help us , we will have to use it cautiously, else it may prove to be very disastrous. Earlier machines helped us. But now we are slaves to our machines . We depend on them for everything. This will come back at us . Science despite being essential, if not used wisely is a big threat. Therefore we must use scientific inventions and researches cautiously. Nevertheless we must give credit to those people (scientists) who ruin their lives , spoil their health trying to make this world a better place.
