(i) Milky Way is a galaxy which is defined as a collection of Solar Systems.

(ii) Our Solar System ( one with the Sun ) is present in the Milky Way.

(iii) Like every galaxy , Milky Way too has a super-massive black hole in the centre of it.

(iv) Milky Way was first observed by the Italian scientist Galileo.

(v) It appears as a path of milk in the black Universe horizon and hence it is called the Milky Way.

(vi) The Galaxy is a spiral shaped one almost a circle .
