ANSWER☺️

Active transport uses energy (ATP) for the moving the molecules in and out of the cellular membranes and therefore remain active, while in passive transport the molecules do not use energy for their movements and so the name is given as passive.

TYPES

ACTIVE TRANSPORT

Endocytosis, Exocytosis, Proton pumps and Sodium potassium pumps.

PASSIVE TRANSPORT

Osmosis and Diffusion.

Hey mate

Active transport it is the movement of molecules from an area of low concentration to heigh concentration.

this takes molecules from outside the cell and move them inside.

This process takes energy.

its types:

protein pump

Endocytosis

Exocytosis

Passive transport it is the movement of ions and other atomic or molecular substance across cell membrane without need of energy input. unlike active transport

it's types:

Diffusion

Osmosis

Facilitated Diffusion
