One mole of a gas contains 6.023 x 10^23 constituent particles of the gas and occupies 22.4 L volume....One molecule contains 2 atoms of oxygen.

Therefore,

when 2.8 moles of O2 occupy at standard temperature and pressure then by the formula,

V= N×R×T/P

Here,
V = Volume means litre
N = No. of moles
R = Gas constant( 0.087)
T = Temperature
P = Pressure of atom

= 2.8× 0.821× atm/mol× k/ 1 atm

= 2.2988 litres
