T = 2π√(L/g)

From above

ΔT/T × 100 = 0.5 × (ΔL/L × 100)

= 0.5 × 4%

= 2%

∴ If length of pendulum is increased by 4% then time period will increase by 2%.

t = 2\pi \: \sqrt{( \frac{l}{g}) } \\ \\Δ \frac{t}{t} \times 100 = 0.5 \times (Δ \frac{l}{l} \times 100) \\ \\ = 0.5 \times 4\% \\ \\ = 2\%
