I am going to tell you about how I soend my diwali vacation. First of all we just had one week vacation on diwali rather than two weeks we used to.

This year also diwali brought along the usual fun , cheer and exhilration. The entire country was swept over by a wave of celebration. However, owing to the increasing awareness about environmental preservation this year the Green and clean diwali campaign is in full swing. But some people decided to celebrate diwali without causing pollution ans some not.

I also decided to celebrate Diwali in eco-friendly manner. I decided that I would not let off any crackers. I also appealed to my brothers, sisters, cousins and friends not to explode any crackers. so I took immense pleasure in doing the decoration. I went to the market to buy electric lights; I myself decorated my home .

Then I went to the beat sweet shops to buy fresh sweets. I also went to my friends and my relative house to give gifts and diwali greetings. Many friends and relatives visited my home to give us the festival greetings and gifts.

On the eve of diwali, I participated in the traditional pooja of the godess ganesh and godesses laxmi. it was wonderful Diwali...

High pitch sound making crackers are enough to disturb human mind and balance of atmosphere.

Some fire-rockets go very high in the sky which create the fear of fire if used in the residential colonies.
