Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

No. of student = 100 ; Students learning in English = 20% ; Students learning French = 40% ; Students learning Spanish = 60% ; No student learn more than 2 two languages ; Student which learn 2 languages = 50%

To find:

No. of students who don't learn a single language = ?

Soluion:

English = (20/100) x 100 = 20

French = (40/100) x 100 = 20

Spanish = (60/100) x 100 = 60

50 students learn 2 langs so let's give them some:

60-50 = 10

50 students learn Spanish as their 1st lang

10 from other 50, they don't have 2nd lang, so 40 remain from the other 50 with no lang

40-10 = 30

20+30 = 50

From the 50 students, 20 have English and the other 30 have French as their 2nd lang

10 from other 50, they don't have 2nd lang, so 30 remain from the other 50 with no lang

Therefore, 30 student have no language
